Welcome

The Joint Iberian Meeting on Atomic and Molecular Physics (IBER) is the conference organized jointly by the Atomic and Molecular Physics Specialed Group (GEFAM) of the Spanish Royal Society of Physics and the Portuguese Society of Physics.

The IBER meeting Series follows a tradition of international biannual Conferences sequentially organized in Portugal and Spain which started in 1993, the last editions being organized in Évora (IBER 2019), Málaga (IBER 2022) and Coimbra (IBER 2023). The IBER 2025 Conference will bring together members of the international community of researchers in Atomic and Molecular Physics, providing ground for the exchange of information on experimental and theoretical topics.The Conference will be organized around Plenary Talks, Invited Talks, Oral Talks and Poster sessions, to promote stimulating interaction between all participants. An effort will be done to encourage oral presentations by young researchers in the field. In addition to the scientific activities the conference will include a touristic activity and a Gala Dinner on the last day of the Conference.

The University of Vigo and the organizers of this conference are delighted and honored to host this IBER conference in Vigo, during the summer of 2025.
